It's not so much a comparison of kindness as it is a comparison of every function of your job and personality. The ghost is a constant yardstick that you must attempt to match. You know the feeling of running down a long hallway and the faster you run, the faster your destination shrinks in the distance. It's kinda like that. When I was hired I was introduced to people as *Blanks* replacement. I know the feeling.

oh, i've been there somehow the "ghost's" kindness, talent, sincerity and all-around greatness increases in relationship to anything in the office not going as smoothly as hoped, "ah, if 'the ghost' was here, this wouldn't have happened" thank you, Scott Adams you are insightful and boost moral (plural)
